Gretchen is dedicated to offering exceptional research, project management, and data analysis concerning the discovery and resolution of organizational challenges. In her career she has successfully supported organizations through strategic planning processes, including the facilitation of mission writing, development of financial projections, and rigorous analysis of competitive industries. She is passionate about leveraging creativity and innovation in her organizational development work.
Additionally, Gretchen brings specific expertise in the non-profit arts sector, having been an employee, board member, volunteer, or artist at a variety of organizations. Before joining OPG, she served as the Associate Managing Director at Yale Repertory Theatre in New Haven, and worked as a Management Fellow at Alliance Theatre in Atlanta. She has also authored a case study about the Trisha Brown Dance Company.
Gretchen earned a joint MBA/MFA from the Yale School of Management and the Yale School of Drama, where she led the Non-profit Board Fellows, an organization that creates opportunities for students to serve on non-profit boards in and around New Haven, with a focus on leadership development and peer coaching. She is a recipient of the Louis Sudler Prize for Achievement in the Arts, and received her Bachelor’s Degree in English and Theater Studies from Duke University. Her other loves include dancing, outdoor adventures, and dogs.
