The Future of Work: Exploring the Four-Day Workweek
May 18, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm EDT
$30
The four-day workweek movement is gaining momentum. Companies ranging from Panasonic to Unilever to Kickstarter – to, yes, OPG – have piloted or formally adopted a 32-hour week. Iceland, Scotland, and Spain are piloting the model, and in 2021, CA Congressman Mark Takano introduced four-day workweek legislation in the U.S. Proponents cite myriad benefits – productivity boosts, reduced burnout, improved physical and mental health, increased gender equity, and positive environmental impacts, to name a few. The four-day week represents a paradigm shift in how we think about work.
So, what does the four-day workweek mean for organizations? What can we learn from the early adopters? How can leaders anticipate and respond to the call for change in how and when we work?
We invite you to join OPG and our panel of leaders as we explore these questions and more.
